Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ASC1, or Apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD, is a crucial component of various signaling pathways involved in cellular processes such as apoptosis, inflammation, and immune response. As a part of the innate immune system, ASC1 plays a pivotal role in the assembly of multi-protein complexes known as inflammasomes, which are integral for the activation of caspase-1 and the subsequent secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines like IL-1β and IL-18. Continued research into ASC1 and its roles in disease mechanisms, particularly in chronic inflammatory conditions and cancers, emphasizes the importance of understanding its structure and function at the molecular level. Recombinant ASC1 protein has been generated to facilitate studies regarding its interactions with other proteins and its influence on cellular pathways. This production of ASC1 in heterologous systems has enabled researchers to investigate its potential as a therapeutic target, offering insights into how modulation of ASC1 functions may alter inflammatory responses or apoptotic processes. Understanding ASC1's role in disease could lead to novel approaches for treating a range of conditions linked to dysregulated apoptosis or inflammation. Thus, the study of ASC1 recombinant protein not only furthers basic scientific knowledge but also holds promise for the development of future therapeutic strategies.
