Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PNTx4 is a recombinant protein that has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its potential therapeutic applications in treating neurodegenerative diseases and enhancing nerve regeneration. Derived from a naturally occurring peptide, PNTx4 is designed to mimic the neuroprotective properties of its parent molecule while being optimized for stability and efficacy. Research has indicated that PNTx4 interacts with specific molecular pathways involved in neuronal survival and plasticity, offering promise not only in neuroprotection but also in promoting functional recovery after nerve injuries. The increasing prevalence of conditions like Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and traumatic nerve injuries has spurred extensive investigation into novel treatments, making PNTx4 a focal point in biomedical research. Preclinical studies have shown that this protein can reduce apoptosis in neuronal cells and enhance axonal growth, paving the way for potential applications in regenerative medicine. Continued exploration of PNTx4's mechanisms of action and its effects on various neuronal populations is crucial for understanding its full therapeutic potential, ultimately aiming to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by debilitating neurological conditions. Researchers are now focused on optimizing the delivery methods and assessing the safety profiles of PNTx4 to facilitate its transition into clinical trials, indicating a promising future for this recombinant protein in neuroscience and rehabilitation therapies.
