Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IkB proteins play a crucial role in the regulation of the NF-κB signaling pathway, which is pivotal in controlling immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. Upon stimulation by various cytokines or stressors, IkB proteins bind to NF-κB dimers, preventing their nuclear translocation and subsequent transcription of target genes. The phosphorylation and subsequent degradation of IkB proteins, usually mediated by IKK (IkB kinase), release NF-κB, allowing it to enter the nucleus and exert its biological effects. Given their central role in numerous diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions, the study of recombinant IkB proteins has gained significant attention. Researchers are investigating the design and application of these recombinant proteins to better understand NF-κB regulation and its implications in pathology. Additionally, recombinant IkB proteins offer potential therapeutic avenues, as they could be utilized to inhibit NF-κB activity in disease states, thereby mitigating inflammation or tumor progression. This research aims to uncover novel strategies for targeting the NF-κB pathway, with the ultimate goal of developing new treatments for diseases linked to its dysregulation.
