Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EPS15 is a crucial protein involved in the endocytic pathway, primarily recognized for its role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Its significant interaction with the Eps15-homology (EH) domain-containing proteins plays a pivotal role in cellular signaling, ensuring proper internalization of membrane receptors. Research indicates that EPS15 is not only essential for the endocytosis of growth factor receptors but also participates in various cellular processes, including the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation. The protein's dysregulation has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer, where it may affect oncogenic signaling pathways. Given its importance, the study of EPS15 as a recombinant protein has gained traction, enabling scientists to better understand its structural and functional properties. Recent advancements in recombinant DNA technology facilitate the production of EPS15 in controlled environments, providing invaluable insights into its mechanism of action and potential as a therapeutic target. By examining EPS15's interactions and functionalities through reconstitution and biophysical studies, researchers aim to uncover novel strategies to manipulate endocytic pathways for therapeutic purposes, as well as investigate its role in disease states.
