  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CCR6 (C-C chemokine receptor type 6) is a chemokine receptor primarily expressed on immune cells, including T-helper 17 (Th17) cells, and plays a crucial role in inflammatory responses and autoimmune diseases. Research on CCR6 has garnered significant attention due to its involvement in various pathological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and certain cancers. The receptor’s interaction with its ligand CCL20 is pivotal for the migration and retention of immune cells in inflammatory sites. Therefore, studying CCR6 and developing recombinant CCR6 proteins can provide valuable insights into its biological functions and mechanisms of action. Such recombinant proteins can serve as important tools for investigating receptor signaling pathways, understanding immune cell trafficking, and exploring potential therapeutic targets. Furthermore, CCR6 has emerged as a candidate for immunotherapeutic approaches, making it essential to comprehend its structural and functional characteristics. Progress in CCR6 research may lead to novel strategies for modulating immune responses, highlighting the importance of this receptor in both basic and applied immunology. Overall, the study of CCR6 and its recombinant proteins is critical for delineating its role in immune regulation and developing interventions for immune-mediated diseases.
