简介
CXCR2 protein acts as a receptor for interleukin-8 and induces neutrophil activation through the G protein-mediated phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. In addition to IL-8, CXCR2 also exhibits high-affinity binding to ligands such as CXCL3, GRO/MGSA, and NAP-2. CXCR2 Protein, Mouse (Cell-Free, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived CXCR2 protein, expressed by E. coli Cell-free , with N-10*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CXCR2, a chemokine receptor belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor family, plays a crucial role in the immune response by mediating the recruitment of neutrophils and other immune cells to sites of inflammation. Its involvement in various pathological processes, including cancer metastasis, chronic inflammatory diseases, and autoimmune disorders, has made CXCR2 a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Research has demonstrated that the activation of CXCR2 can lead to various cellular responses, such as chemotaxis, proliferation, and survival, highlighting its importance in both normal immune function and pathological conditions. The development of CXCR2 recombinant proteins has enabled scientists to explore its structure-function relationships, signaling pathways, and interactions with ligands like IL-8 and other chemokines. These studies are essential for understanding the receptor's role in disease mechanisms and for designing novel CXCR2-targeted therapies. Additionally, CXCR2 recombinant proteins can be utilized in drug screening assays, allowing for the identification of small molecules or antibodies that can modulate its activity. As the field of immunology continues to evolve, the characterization of CXCR2 and its related pathways remains a pivotal area of research aimed at developing innovative treatments for inflammatory diseases and cancer. Overall, the advancement of recombinant technology allows for a deeper exploration of CXCR2, providing insights that could lead to significant breakthroughs in therapeutic strategies.
