Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Frizzled-4 (Fzd4), a member of the Frizzled family of G protein-coupled receptors, is known for its crucial role in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is pivotal in various developmental processes, including angiogenesis and neuronal differentiation. The significance of Fzd4 is particularly evident in the context of the vascular system; mutations in the Fzd4 gene have been linked to ocular and vascular diseases, such as familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR). Research on Fzd4/CD344 recombinant proteins has gained momentum as scientists seek to understand the mechanisms by which this receptor regulates cellular communication and tissue development. By generating and studying recombinant Fzd4 proteins, researchers can investigate the receptor’s ligand-binding properties, signaling mechanisms, and interactions with other cellular components, thus providing insights into its functional roles in health and disease. Given the potential therapeutic implications of modulating Wnt signaling, studies involving Fzd4/CD344 recombinant proteins could pave the way for novel interventions in disorders associated with aberrant angiogenesis and development.
