Frizzled-1

简介
Frizzled-1 is a Wnt receptor that is primarily activated by WNT7B and to varying degrees by WNT3A, WNT3, WNT1, and WNT2, while resisting activation by other Wnt proteins. Its fundamental role in canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling involves promiscuous activation, GSK-3 kinase inhibition, nuclear β-catenin accumulation, and Wnt target gene activation. Frizzled-1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant mouse-derived Frizzled-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Frizzled-1 (Fz-1) is a member of the Frizzled family of receptors, which play a crucial role in the Wnt signaling pathway, a key regulator of various biological processes including embryogenesis, cell differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. The Fz-1 receptor specifically participates in both canonical and non-canonical Wnt signaling, influencing cellular behaviors such as proliferation, migration, and polarity. Dysregulation of the Wnt signaling pathway, often through alterations in Frizzled receptors, has been implicated in numerous human diseases, including cancer, where it can contribute to tumorigenesis and metastasis. Research on recombinant Frizzled-1 protein focuses on understanding its structural and functional characteristics, which could provide insights into its interaction with Wnt ligands and downstream signaling components. Moreover, studying Fz-1 can aid in elucidating the complexities of Wnt-mediated cellular responses and their implications in developmental biology and disease. Recombinant Fz-1 may also serve as a valuable tool for drug discovery, allowing for the identification of potential therapeutics that target Wnt signaling pathways. Overall, the investigation of Frizzled-1 is critical for advancing our understanding of Wnt-related functions in health and disease.
