Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Frizzled-6 (Fzd6) is a member of the frizzled family of G protein-coupled receptors, which play crucial roles in the Wnt signaling pathway, a fundamental mechanism that regulates various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. Studies have shown that Fzd6 is involved in the regulation of neural development and may have implications in cancer biology, where aberrations in Wnt signaling often lead to tumorigenesis. Recent research has focused on the structural and functional characterization of Fzd6, aiming to elucidate its precise role in signaling networks. The reconstitution of Fzd6 as a recombinant protein allows for in-depth biochemical and biophysical studies, facilitating the understanding of ligand-receptor interactions and downstream signaling cascades. This knowledge can provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for diseases associated with Wnt signaling dysregulation. Additionally, investigating Fzd6's interactions with other signaling molecules and its effects on cellular behavior can contribute to a comprehensive understanding of its function in developmental processes and disease states. Overall, the study of Fzd6 as a recombinant protein is pivotal for advancing our knowledge of Wnt signaling and its broader implications in biology and medicine.
