The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SCAND1 (Sperm Crossover Associated Nuclear Domain 1) is a protein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in gametogenesis and fertility. Studies suggest that SCAND1 is implicated in the structure and function of sperm, particularly in its involvement with the sperm nucleus during the maturation process. The protein has been linked to various reproductive disorders, including male infertility, making it a critical subject of research in reproductive biology. Initial investigations revealed that SCAND1 may interact with key proteins involved in sperm development and function, indicating its importance in maintaining the integrity of sperm chromatin and overall reproductive success. Furthermore, recent research has focused on the molecular mechanisms through which SCAND1 operates, including its gene expression regulation and protein interactions, which could provide insights into pathophysiological conditions associated with reproduction. Understanding SCAND1's precise functions and interactions at a molecular level could open new avenues for therapeutic interventions aimed at treating infertility and enhancing reproductive health. The ongoing exploration of SCAND1's role in reproductive biology not only highlights its significance in male fertility but also contributes to the broader understanding of gametogenesis and associated disorders.
