Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APOM (Apolipoprotein M) is a protein primarily associated with high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and is believed to play a crucial role in lipid metabolism and atherogenesis. Research has uncovered its involvement in cardiovascular health, as APOM participates in the transport of lipid molecules and influences cholesterol efflux, thereby potentially impacting atherosclerotic processes. Additionally, APOM exhibits anti-inflammatory properties that may contribute to its protective effects against cardiovascular diseases. The development of recombinant APOM proteins has garnered interest for their potential therapeutic applications, allowing scientists to study the protein's functions in more controlled experimental settings. These recombinant forms can be utilized to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which APOM affects lipid metabolism, immune responses, and other physiological processes. Moreover, understanding the role of APOM in various pathophysiological conditions, such as diabetes and metabolic syndrome, could open new avenues for targeted therapies. Advances in recombinant protein technology enable the production of APOM at scale, facilitating both basic research and potential clinical applications, making it a vital area of study within cardiovascular and metabolic research.
