Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAI2 (Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor Type 2) is a serine protease inhibitor that plays a crucial role in regulating fibrinolysis and maintaining hemostatic balance. It is primarily produced by endothelial cells and has been implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including tissue remodeling, inflammation, and cancer progression. Research into PAI2 has gained traction due to its potential as a biomarker for various diseases and as a target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structure and function of recombinant PAI2 proteins can provide insights into their role in modulating plasminogen activation and may lead to the development of novel strategies for treating thrombotic disorders and tumor metastasis. Additionally, the manipulation of PAI2 expressions through recombinant technology offers a unique opportunity to explore its therapeutic applications in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. The ongoing study of PAI2 and its recombinant forms continues to expand our knowledge of its biological functions and significance in health and disease.
