Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STAT5A (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 5A) is a crucial transcription factor involved in various cellular processes, including growth, differentiation, and immune responses. As a member of the STAT family, STAT5A plays a significant role in mediating signals from cytokines and growth factors, particularly in hematopoietic and immune cells. Dysregulation of STAT5A has been implicated in several pathologies, including cancer, where it contributes to oncogenesis and tumor progression through aberrant activation. The study of recombinant STAT5A proteins has emerged as a pivotal area of research, providing insights into the structure-function relationships of STAT proteins and their regulatory mechanisms. By producing STAT5A in a recombinant system, researchers can investigate its signaling pathways, identify potential targets for therapeutic intervention, and elucidate its role in both normal physiology and disease states. Furthermore, recombinant STAT5A proteins can serve as valuable tools for developing assays and experimental models aimed at understanding the complexities of the JAK/STAT signaling pathway and its implications in various biological contexts. The ongoing characterization of STAT5A through recombinant technology not only enhances our understanding of its functional roles but also paves the way for innovative therapeutic approaches targeting STAT5A-related pathways in human diseases.
