Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NXPH2, or Neurexophilin 2, is a member of the neurexophilin family, which plays a crucial role in the central nervous system by modulating neurotransmitter release and synaptic plasticity. Its interaction with neurexin, a presynaptic cell adhesion molecule, suggests that NXPH2 is involved in the intricate processes of synapse formation and maintenance. Research into NXPH2 has gained traction due to its potential implications in neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders, such as autism and schizophrenia, where synaptic dysfunction is a common feature. Additionally, NXPH2 has been shown to have neuroprotective properties, making it a candidate for therapeutic interventions in neurodegenerative diseases. The production of recombinant NXPH2 protein through methods like molecular cloning and expression in suitable host systems is vital for detailed studies, enabling researchers to investigate its biological functions, signaling pathways, and interactions with other proteins. Understanding the structure and function of NXPH2 could provide insights into its role in neural communication and its contributions to various neurological conditions, paving the way for novel treatment strategies.
