Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Cyb5R3, or cytochrome b5 reductase 3, is a crucial enzyme that plays a significant role in the electron transport chain and is involved in various biological processes, including lipid metabolism and the detoxification of reactive oxygen species. Research on Cyb5R3 has gained momentum due to its implications in human health, particularly its association with several diseases, including cardiovascular disorders and certain types of cancer. The enzyme functions to maintain proper cellular redox states and supports the activity of cytochrome b5, which is vital for fatty acid desaturation and cholesterol synthesis. Additionally, mutations in the CYB5R3 gene can lead to metabolic disorders, highlighting the need for further exploration of this protein. Recombinant Cyb5R3 protein has become a focal point in scientific investigations, allowing researchers to study its enzymatic properties, interactions with other molecules, and its role in metabolic pathways. By producing the protein in a controlled environment, scientists can better understand its structure-function relationship, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications. This ongoing research aims to elucidate the mechanisms by which Cyb5R3 influences cellular processes and to develop strategies targeting this enzyme for disease intervention and treatment.
