稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VRK1 (Vaccinia-related kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase that has garnered attention due to its pivotal role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Studies have shown that VRK1 is implicated in the regulation of key signaling pathways, affecting the cell cycle and contributing to oncogenesis; its overexpression has been correlated with several types of cancer, making it a potential biomarker for tumor progression. Research has also suggested that VRK1 participates in DNA repair mechanisms and influences the stability of chromatin, highlighting its significance in maintaining genomic integrity. The recombinant protein form of VRK1 has been utilized to investigate its enzymatic activity and interactome, providing insights into its role as a therapeutic target. In the context of viral infections, particularly those caused by poxviruses, VRK1 is believed to facilitate viral replication, emphasizing its relevance in virology. As such, the study of VRK1 combined with the advancements in recombinant protein technology has opened new avenues for understanding its molecular functions and exploring potential interventions in cancer and viral diseases. This body of research underpins the necessity for further investigation into VRK1’s associated pathways and its utility in developing novel therapeutic strategies.
