稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MMP26, or Matrix Metalloproteinase 26, is a member of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family, which plays a crucial role in the degradation of extracellular matrix components, influencing various physiological and pathological processes such as tissue remodeling, wound healing, and tumor invasion. Research on MMP26 has gained attention due to its unique expression patterns and potential involvement in cancer progression and inflammatory diseases. Unlike many MMPs, MMP26 is primarily expressed in specific tissues, including the reproductive system and the brain, indicating a specialized role in tissue maintenance and function. Recent studies have highlighted MMP26's potential as a biomarker for certain cancers and its involvement in the regulation of inflammatory responses, prompting interest in its therapeutic implications. The recombinant expression of MMP26 allows for detailed investigations into its structure-function relationships and enzymatic mechanisms, providing insights that could lead to novel treatments targeting MMP26-related pathways. Understanding the multifaceted roles of MMP26 is essential for developing innovative therapeutic strategies in oncology and regenerative medicine. As research progresses, MMP26 may emerge as a significant player in the landscape of matrix remodeling and cellular communication, warranting further exploration of its potential as a therapeutic target.
