Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the ipaB recombinant protein has garnered significant attention due to its crucial role in the pathogenicity of certain enteropathogenic microorganisms, particularly Shigella species. IpaB is a component of the type III secretion system, which is a specialized mechanism used by these bacteria to inject virulence factors directly into host cells, enabling them to manipulate cellular processes for their own advantage. Understanding the structure and function of ipaB is vital, as it not only contributes to bacterial invasion and immune evasion but also serves as a potential target for vaccine development. Current research aims to explore the biochemical properties and functional mechanisms of ipaB, utilizing techniques such as structural biology, mutagenesis, and immunological assays. By elucidating the interactions between ipaB and host cellular components, researchers hope to identify novel therapeutic strategies that could mitigate infections caused by Shigella and related pathogens. The potential implications of this research extend beyond basic science, as insights gained could lead to innovative approaches in combating bacterial infections, thereby addressing a significant public health challenge.
