Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UBC11, a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is central to protein degradation, regulation of cellular processes, and maintaining cellular homeostasis. The importance of UBC11 arises from its involvement in various biological processes, including apoptosis, cell cycle regulation, and response to stressors. Recent studies have shown that UBC11 can modulate the activity of numerous target proteins by facilitating ubiquitination, a post-translational modification that can influence protein stability and function. Moreover, dysregulation of ubiquitination pathways has been linked to several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting the potential of UBC11 as a therapeutic target. Research into UBC11 recombinant protein aims to elucidate its structural and functional characteristics, understand its interaction with ubiquitin and substrate proteins, and explore its role in cellular signaling pathways. By producing UBC11 in a recombinant system, researchers can investigate its enzymatic activity, determine the effect of mutations, and screen for small molecules that may inhibit or enhance its function. Such studies not only contribute to our understanding of UBC11 itself but also provide insights into broader cellular mechanisms of protein regulation and may open avenues for developing novel therapeutic strategies based on targeting ubiquitination processes.
