Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GSTCD (Glutathione S-Transferase C-Terminal Domain) is a member of the glutathione S-transferase family, known for its role in detoxification and cellular processes. The study of GSTCD has gained importance due to its potential implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer, where it may influence drug resistance and tumor development. Its unique structure allows it to interact with a variety of substrates, making it a target for drug design and therapeutic intervention. Recent research has focused on the recombinant expression of GSTCD to facilitate the study of its enzymatic properties, interaction mechanisms, and the development of novel inhibitors. This research is critical for understanding how GSTCD contributes to cellular defense mechanisms and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in disease contexts. By producing GSTCD as a recombinant protein, scientists can perform biochemical assays to elucidate its functional roles, explore its interactions with other biomolecules, and investigate its potential as a target for cancer therapeutics. Overall, the characterization and functional analysis of GSTCD hold promise for advancing our understanding of its biochemical pathways and potential clinical applications.
