Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPC4 (glypican-4) is a member of the glypican family of heparan sulfate proteoglycans, which are known to play vital roles in cell signaling, growth regulation, and development. GPC4 is particularly significant in the context of muscle and neural development, where it modulates various growth factors and signaling pathways. Recent studies have indicated that alterations in GPC4 expression and function may be implicated in various diseases, including muscular dystrophies and certain cancers. As a result, GPC4 has attracted attention in biomedical research for its potential as a therapeutic target and biomarker. The recombinant expression of GPC4 protein allows for in-depth investigation into its biological functions and interactions, facilitating the understanding of its role in health and disease. Furthermore, the characterization of GPC4 through recombinant technology provides insights into its structural features and molecular mechanisms, offering possibilities for targeted therapies and interventions in related pathologies. The ongoing research surrounding GPC4 emphasizes its significance in both developmental biology and therapeutic applications, highlighting the need for further exploration of its roles and potential in regenerative medicine and oncological treatments.
