  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

HOOK1, a member of the HOOK protein family, plays a crucial role in intracellular transport processes, particularly in the trafficking of lysosomal and endosomal compartments. Research has shown that HOOK1 is involved in the regulation of various cellular functions, including organelle positioning, membrane dynamics, and protein sorting. Its function is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating effective communication between organelles. Importantly, dysregulation of HOOK1 has been linked to several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Given its significance in cellular processes, the study of HOOK1 recombinant protein has gained momentum in recent years. By producing and characterizing HOOK1 in a recombinant system, researchers aim to elucidate its structural and functional properties, understand its interaction with other cellular components, and explore its role in disease mechanisms. This research not only provides insights into fundamental biological processes but also opens avenues for developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting HOOK1-related pathways. As such, studying HOOK1 recombinant protein is pivotal for advancing our understanding of cell biology and for identifying potential interventions in diseases associated with its dysfunction.
