稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AiiA, an N-acyl homoserine lactone (AHL) lactonase, plays a critical role in the field of microbial communication and biocontrol. AHLs are signaling molecules used by many Gram-negative bacteria for quorum sensing, a process that regulates gene expression in response to cell density. The accumulation of AHLs can lead to the activation of virulence factors, making them essential targets for controlling bacterial pathogenicity. The research on AiiA focuses on its potential to disrupt quorum sensing and inhibit biofilm formation and virulence in pathogenic bacteria, such as *Pseudomonas aeruginosa* and *Erwinia carotovora*. By degrading AHLs, AiiA can mitigate the harmful effects of bacterial infections and offer a novel strategy for developing antimicrobial agents. The recombinant expression of AiiA allows for the production of this enzyme in significant quantities, facilitating further studies on its enzymatic mechanisms, stability, and potential applications in agriculture and medicine. Understanding the structural and functional properties of AiiA contributes to the development of innovative biotechnological solutions to combat antibiotic resistance and enhance plant health, underscoring the importance of this research in addressing global health challenges.
