Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KDM6B, also known as lysine demethylase 6B, is a member of the JmjC domain-containing family of proteins, which are implicated in the regulation of gene expression through histone modification. This enzyme specifically demethylates tri- and di-methylated lysine 27 on histone H3 (H3K27me3/2), a modification associated with transcriptional repression and chromatin compaction. The role of KDM6B in epigenetic regulation has drawn significant attention in recent years due to its potential implications in various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and cellular response to environmental stimuli. Furthermore, dysregulation of KDM6B has been linked to several diseases, particularly cancers, where its altered expression can contribute to oncogenesis by reactivating silenced tumor suppressor genes. The study of KDM6B recombinant proteins has enabled researchers to elucidate its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and functional mechanisms. Understanding how KDM6B influences chromatin dynamics and gene expression is crucial for developing potential therapeutic strategies that target epigenetic modifications in disease contexts. Through the exploration of KDM6B's enzymatic activity and regulatory pathways, researchers aim to better comprehend its role in cellular homeostasis and disease progression, paving the way for novel interventions in cancer and other pathologies associated with epigenetic dysregulation.
