Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SERPINB5, also known as Maspin, is a member of the serpin family of proteins and has garnered significant attention in cancer research due to its unique role as a tumor suppressor. Initially identified for its expression in normal mammary tissue, Maspin exhibits a complex involvement in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, cell migration, and invasion. Studies have demonstrated that it is downregulated in several malignancies, such as breast and prostate cancers, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for cancer progression and metastasis. The recombinant expression of SERPINB5 provides an invaluable tool for elucidating its functional mechanisms and interactions within the tumor microenvironment. By generating recombinant protein, researchers have been able to study the structural and functional properties of SERPINB5, paving the way for therapeutic applications. Additionally, the development of recombinant SERPINB5 has facilitated the investigation of its effects on tumor cell behavior when reintroduced into cancer models, offering insight into how restoring its expression may alter the progression of cancer. Understanding the molecular pathways impacted by SERPINB5 could lead to novel strategies for cancer diagnosis and treatment, emphasizing its importance in the ongoing efforts to combat cancer and improve patient outcomes. Overall, the research surrounding SERPINB5 allows for a deeper comprehension of its role as a tumor suppressor and its potential utilization in innovative therapeutic approaches.
