Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (MCSF), also known as CSF1, is a crucial growth factor that plays a significant role in the differentiation and proliferation of monocyte/macrophage lineage cells. Its importance is underscored in various physiological processes such as immune response, tissue homeostasis, and inflammation. The recombinant protein form of MCSF has emerged as a vital tool in biomedical research, particularly in studying hematopoiesis and macrophage biology. Researchers have found that MCSF influences not only the survival and growth of macrophages but also their activation state and functional capabilities. Understanding the mechanisms by which MCSF regulates macrophage development is essential for elucidating its role in immune responses and potential therapeutic applications, including cancer immunotherapy and tissue repair. Given the complexities involved in macrophage behavior, the production of recombinant MCSF allows scientists to explore various signaling pathways and interactions with other cytokines in controlled experimental settings. This has paved the way for innovative strategies to manipulate macrophage activity, offering promising prospects for treating diseases characterized by dysregulated macrophage functions, such as chronic inflammatory disorders and autoimmune diseases. Overall, the study of recombinant MCSF and its applications offers significant insights into the immune system's dynamics and provides a framework for developing novel therapeutic interventions.
