  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PDL2 (Programmed Death Ligand 2) is a crucial member of the PD-1/PD-L pathway, which plays a significant role in the regulation of immune responses. This pathway is integral to the body's ability to maintain self-tolerance and prevent autoimmunity, as well as to modulate immune responses during infections and tumorigenesis. Recent studies have highlighted PDL2's potential as a therapeutic target in cancer immunotherapy, given its role in tumor immune evasion. The expression of PDL2 on various immune cells and tumor tissues has prompted extensive research into its mechanisms of action and interaction with the PD-1 receptor on T cells. Furthermore, recombinant PDL2 proteins have garnered attention as tools for studying these interactions, providing insights into its structure-function relationships and aiding in the development of PDL2-based therapies. As the field of immunotherapy continues to evolve, understanding the biological significance of PDL2 and its recombinant forms could lead to novel strategies for enhancing anti-tumor immunity and improving patient outcomes.
