Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LCOR (Ligand Dependent Corepressor) is a member of the nuclear receptor corepressor family, playing a significant role in the regulation of gene expression by interacting with nuclear receptors and transcription factors. The study of LCOR is essential due to its involvement in various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and metabolic regulation. Recent research has indicated that LCOR may contribute to the pathogenesis of several diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, by modulating the activity of nuclear receptors that are crucial for cellular homeostasis. Understanding the structural and functional properties of LCOR, particularly through the study of recombinant proteins, can provide insights into its mechanisms of action and regulatory pathways. Recombinant LCOR proteins allow for high-throughput screening of protein interactions, identification of binding partners, and examination of LCOR's role in ligand-dependent transcriptional repression. This research not only deepens our understanding of the molecular underpinnings of gene regulation but also holds potential for therapeutic applications, as targeting LCOR or its interactions may offer novel strategies for treating diseases associated with dysregulated nuclear receptor activity.
