Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MDA (Melanoma Differentiation-Associated) proteins have garnered significant attention in cancer research, particularly due to their roles in melanoma and other malignancies. The MDA family, including proteins like MDA-7 and MDA-9, is known for modulating various cellular processes, such as cell proliferation, apoptosis, and immune response. Initial studies have highlighted the potential of these proteins as biomarkers for melanoma diagnosis and prognosis, as their expression levels correlate with tumor progression and patient survival rates. Moreover, MDA proteins contribute to the complex interplay between tumor cells and the immune system, promoting either immune evasion or activation. This duality positions MDA proteins as promising therapeutic targets. For instance, recombinant MDA proteins have been explored in gene therapy and immunotherapy, aiming to enhance the anti-tumor immune response. Understanding the biochemical pathways and mechanisms underlying MDA protein function is critical for developing effective strategies to manipulate their activity in cancer treatment. Given the rising incidence of melanoma globally and the limitations of current treatment options, research into MDA proteins not only provides insights into tumor biology but also paves the way for innovative therapeutic approaches that could improve patient outcomes. The ongoing exploration of MDA's role in cancer biology presents an exciting frontier in the search for effective cancer therapies.
