Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIP1R (Huntingtin-Interacting Protein 1 Related) is a protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as endocytosis, membrane trafficking, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Its association with the huntingtin protein has implicated it in neurodegenerative diseases, notably Huntington's disease, where abnormal interactions could affect neuronal health. Research into HIP1R has gained momentum due to its potential as a therapeutic target; understanding its structure and function may reveal insights into disease mechanisms and pathology. The recombinant production of HIP1R allows for biochemical and biophysical characterization, enabling researchers to dissect its interactions with other proteins and elucidate its functional roles. Furthermore, studies have shown that alterations in HIP1R expression levels influence cellular responses to stress and may play a role in cancer pathology, thereby broadening the scope of its relevance. By utilizing advanced techniques in molecular biology and structural biology, scientists aim to uncover the intricate network in which HIP1R operates, potentially identifying novel strategies for intervention in diseases associated with its dysfunction.
