Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NOTUM is a secreted glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including the regulation of Wnt signaling, which is essential for embryonic development and cell differentiation. It functions as a carboxylesterase, involved in the removal of fatty acyl groups from Wnt proteins, thereby affecting their signaling activity. Research has shown that NOTUM is implicated in several developmental disorders and cancers, making it a significant focus for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions. The study of NOTUM recombinant protein aims to elucidate its structure-function relationship, investigate its enzymatic activity, and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. As scientists seek to manipulate Wnt signaling pathways for clinical applications, the development of NOTUM as a recombinant protein provides a valuable tool for both basic and translational research, offering insights into its role in development and disease. Understanding NOTUM's interactions and regulatory mechanisms could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies in regenerative medicine and cancer treatment, underscoring the importance of this protein in health and disease. The ongoing research into NOTUM thus not only enriches our knowledge of fundamental biological processes but also holds promise for innovative therapeutic approaches.
