Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATN1, or Atrophin-1, is a protein primarily studied in the context of its role in neurodegenerative disorders, particularly the spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 (SCA1), a hereditary disease characterized by progressive loss of motor coordination and balance. ATN1 is known to interact with various transcription factors and cellular pathways, influencing gene expression and neuronal health. Research has shown that the pathogenesis of SCA1 is linked to the polyglutamine expansion in ATN1, leading to toxic gain-of-function effects that result in neuronal dysfunction and death. Understanding the molecular mechanisms by which ATN1 contributes to the disease has prompted investigations into potential therapeutic strategies to modulate its activity or provide symptomatic relief. Additionally, the study of ATN1 and its interactions has broader implications in the field of neurobiology, as it may provide insights into the common pathways shared by other neurodegenerative diseases. Thus, the recombinant expression and functional analysis of ATN1 are crucial for unraveling its role in SCA1 and potentially identifying targets for intervention in similar disorders.
