稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The OR10K2 gene belongs to the olfactory receptor family, which is involved in the detection of odorant molecules in the environment. Researchers have shown increasing interest in olfactory receptors due to their potential roles in various biological processes beyond smell, including cell signaling and neurodevelopment. Specifically, OR10K2 is a G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR), known for its complex structure and diverse ligand-binding capabilities, which makes it an intriguing target for studying receptor-ligand interactions. Recent studies suggest that OR10K2 might be implicated in certain neurological disorders and metabolic processes. Understanding the structure and function of OR10K2 at the molecular level can provide valuable insights into its physiological roles and potential therapeutic applications. The recombinant production of OR10K2 protein is essential for investigating its biochemical properties and interactions, enabling researchers to explore its signaling pathways and functional mechanisms in greater depth. This research can contribute to a broader understanding of GPCRs in human health and disease. Overall, the study of OR10K2 and its recombinant protein opens new avenues for exploring its significance in olfactory signaling and beyond, potentially leading to innovative strategies in drug discovery and development.
