Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CADM2 (Cell Adhesion Molecule 2) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily involved in cell adhesion and signaling processes. It has been implicated in various physiological and pathological conditions, particularly in the nervous system, where it plays a crucial role in neuronal differentiation, synapse formation, and neuronal stability. Recent studies have highlighted the potential link between CADM2 and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, suggesting that variations in its expression or function might contribute to these conditions. The interest in CADM2 has spurred research into its structural and functional properties, with an emphasis on producing recombinant proteins to elucidate its interactions with other cellular molecules. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying CADM2's role in cell adhesion could provide insight into the therapeutic potential of targeting this protein in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases. As a result, the production and characterization of CADM2 recombinant protein have become focal points for researchers aiming to explore its biological significance and develop drug candidates that could modulate CADM2-related pathways. In summary, CADM2's involvement in essential cellular processes and its association with neurological disorders underscore the importance of ongoing research into this protein and its potential applications in biomedical science.
