Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAM29, a member of the ADAM (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase) family, is a type I membrane protein known for its diverse roles in cell adhesion, migration, and proteolytic activity. This protein has garnered attention due to its potential involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including embryogenesis, tissue remodeling, and cancer metastasis. Researchers have focused on the functional characterization of ADAM29, exploring its domain structure which includes a metalloprotease domain, a disintegrin-like domain, and an epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domain. The regenerative properties and interactions of ADAM29 with cell surface receptors underscore its importance in cellular signaling pathways. Furthermore, studies have suggested its role as a biomarker for certain diseases, emphasizing the necessity for in-depth investigations into its functionality and regulatory mechanisms. Recombination and expression of ADAM29 provide insights into its enzymatic action and molecular partners, facilitating the understanding of its contributions to disease processes. As scientists explore the therapeutic potential of targeting ADAM29, the generation of recombinant ADAM29 proteins is critical for elucidating its biological roles and evaluating its implications in targeted therapies, thereby positioning ADAM29 as a pivotal player in future biomedical research.
