Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR4D10 is a member of the olfactory receptor family, which primarily functions in the detection of odorant molecules. Recent studies have indicated that OR4D10 may play a significant role beyond olfaction, being implicated in various physiological processes, including respiratory and neurological functions. Research on OR4D10 has gained attention due to its potential involvement in specific diseases, such as chronic rhinosinusitis and neurodegenerative disorders. The ability to understand the structure and function of this receptor through recombinant protein studies is crucial, as it enables scientists to elucidate the signaling pathways and interaction mechanisms involved in its activity. By expressing OR4D10 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to investigate its ligand-binding properties, understand its expression patterns in different tissues, and explore its potential therapeutic targets. Given the expanding interest in the role of olfactory receptors in health and disease, the study of OR4D10 is positioned at the intersection of molecular biology and translational medicine, paving the way for novel diagnostic and treatment strategies.
