稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ALDH16A1, a member of the aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) enzyme family, plays a significant role in the metabolism of various aldehydes and is involved in the detoxification processes within the human body. It is primarily noted for its ability to metabolize harmful aldehydes derived from dietary sources and alcohol consumption, alleviating potential toxic effects. Research has shown that ALDH16A1 is particularly relevant in the context of diverse physiological functions, including lipid metabolism, oxidative stress response, and cellular signaling pathways. Dysregulation or genetic polymorphisms within the ALDH16A1 gene can be linked to various health conditions, such as metabolic disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and some forms of cancer. Given its critical biological functions, the recombinant expression of ALDH16A1 protein has garnered attention for a deeper understanding of its enzymatic mechanisms and therapeutic potential. This research involves the cloning of the ALDH16A1 gene and the subsequent expression in suitable host systems, allowing for the purification and characterization of the protein. This approach not only facilitates the exploration of the enzyme's substrate specificity and kinetic properties but also aids in the development of potential inhibitors or modulators that could be used in clinical settings. As such, the study of recombinant ALDH16A1 protein is poised to provide valuable insights into its role in human health and disease, ultimately contributing to the advancement of targeted therapeutic strategies.
