  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ARHGAP22 (Rho GTPase-activating protein 22) is a member of the RhoGAP family, which regulates Rho family GTPases involved in various cellular processes, including cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. Recent studies have highlighted its potential role in oncogenesis and neurodevelopmental disorders, making it a target of interest in cancer biology and neuroscience. Research has demonstrated that ARHGAP22 modulates signaling pathways by inactivating Rho GTPases, thereby influencing cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular morphology. Additionally, aberrant expression of ARHGAP22 has been linked to various cancers, suggesting that it may act as a tumor suppressor or oncogene depending on the cellular context. Understanding the precise mechanisms through which ARHGAP22 exerts its effects could illuminate its potential as a therapeutic target. The production of recombinant ARHGAP22 protein allows for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization, facilitating investigations into its structure-function relationship and interactions with other signaling molecules. Further exploration of its role in cellular contexts may reveal novel insights into the modulation of Rho GTPase signaling pathways and contribute to the development of targeted therapies in cancer treatment and beyond.
