Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TRAPPC2 (Trafficking Protein Particle Complex 2) is a gene that encodes a protein playing a crucial role in cellular trafficking processes, particularly in the maintenance of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and the Golgi apparatus. Mutations in TRAPPC2 are linked to various congenital disorders, including Schimke immuno-osseous dysplasia, which highlights its significance in human health. Research has shown that TRAPPC2 is involved in the assembly of the TRAPP (Transport Protein Particle) complex, which facilitates the transport of proteins and lipids within cells. Understanding the structure and function of TRAPPC2 is essential for unraveling its role in cellular homeostasis and its implications in disease. To investigate its functionalities, recombinant TRAPPC2 proteins are produced for biochemical assays, structural studies, and functional analyses. These studies aim to characterize protein interactions, elucidate the molecular mechanisms of transport processes, and identify potential therapeutic targets. The development of TRAPPC2 recombinant proteins has opened avenues for drug development and therapeutic interventions for conditions associated with its dysfunction, making it a significant focus within the fields of cell biology and genetics.
