Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ARHGEF6, also known as ¾-ARHGEF6 or PDZ-RhoGEF, is a member of the Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) family, which plays a crucial role in regulating Rho GTPases, a group of proteins that are integral to various cellular processes, including actin cytoskeleton remodeling, cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation. The interest in ARHGEF6 stems from its involvement in signal transduction pathways that are pivotal for cellular functionality and its potential links to diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. This protein is characterized by its ability to activate RhoA, Rac1, and Cdc42, leading to changes in cell morphology and motility. Previous studies have indicated that dysregulation of ARHGEF6 can influence tumor progression and metastasis, making it a target for therapeutic intervention. Additionally, the investigation of ARHGEF6 in the context of cellular responses to various stimuli highlights its importance in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cell behavior. As a recombinant protein, ARHGEF6 presents opportunities to explore its structure-function relationships, interaction with downstream effectors, and its regulatory roles in different cellular contexts, thereby providing insights that could inform drug development and targeted therapies.
