Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PGBD3 (Pogo transposable element) is a member of the DNA transposon family and has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its unique role in mammalian development and its implications in human health. Discovered as a gene with a potential involvement in transposable element activity, PGBD3 is particularly notable for its association with genomic instability and its putative functions in cancer. Research indicates that PGBD3 may facilitate genomic rearrangements, which can contribute to tumorigenesis by enabling the insertion of oncogenes or the disruption of tumor suppressor genes. Moreover, studies have suggested that PGBD3 could play a role in the immune response and neurodevelopment, further broadening its significance in biological processes. The exploration of PGBD3's mechanisms has opened avenues for therapeutic strategies, particularly in targeting cancers where PGBD3 is aberrantly expressed. Understanding the functional properties of the PGBD3 recombinant protein is essential for elucidating its biological roles, paving the way for innovative approaches in cancer treatment and gene therapy.
