稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PGRMC2 (Progesterone Receptor Membrane Component 2) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its multifaceted roles in cellular processes. Initially identified as a component associated with the progesterone receptor, PGRMC2 is involved in various biological functions, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and stress response. Research indicates that it plays a crucial role in modulating steroid hormone signaling and is implicated in the development of certain cancers, particularly breast cancer, where it influences tumor growth and response to therapy. The protein's ability to interact with various signaling pathways makes it an important factor in cellular homeostasis and a potential therapeutic target. Moreover, its unique structure and membrane association raise interesting questions about its functional mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. As the understanding of PGRMC2's functions expands, there is a growing interest in developing recombinant forms of the protein to facilitate studies on its interactions, modifications, and biological activities. By producing recombinant PGRMC2, researchers aim to elucidate its role in health and disease, potentially leading to novel interventions in hormone-related disorders and cancers. Thus, studying PGRMC2 not only enhances our understanding of steroid hormone biology but also opens new avenues for biomedical research and therapeutic development.
