Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PITX2 (Pituitary homeobox 2) is a transcription factor crucial for various developmental processes, particularly in the formation of the heart, pituitary gland, and other organs. Mutations or dysregulation of PITX2 are associated with several congenital disorders, including Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome and cardiac defects. Due to its significant role in development and disease, PITX2 has become a focal point of research in both developmental biology and clinical genetics. The recombinant protein of PITX2 is used to elucidate its functional properties, interactions, and regulatory mechanisms in various biological pathways. By producing PITX2 as a recombinant protein, researchers can study its structural characteristics, binding affinity to DNA, and interactions with other proteins in vitro. This research is vital for understanding the molecular basis of conditions linked to PITX2 and developing potential therapeutic strategies. Furthermore, insights gained from recombinant PITX2 studies can contribute to the broader field of transcriptional regulation and developmental biology, enriching our understanding of how transcription factors orchestrate complex biological processes and their implications in health and disease.
