Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LYPD3 (LY6/PLAUR Domain Containing 3) is a protein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various biological processes and diseases. Structurally, LYPD3 is a member of the LY6/uPAR protein superfamily, characterized by a unique pattern of cysteine residues that facilitate its functional diversity. Research indicates that LYPD3 may be involved in cell adhesion, immune response, and cancer progression, particularly in the context of metastasis and tumor microenvironment interactions. Understanding the mechanism of action of LYPD3 is crucial as it can provide insights into its role in normal physiological processes as well as its involvement in pathological conditions. Additionally, LYPD3 has been associated with immune modulation and has potential implications in therapeutic strategies for autoimmune diseases and cancer immunotherapy. Given its significance, the recombinant production of LYPD3 protein is essential for detailed functional studies and the development of diagnostic and therapeutic tools. Researchers aim to produce LYPD3 in various expression systems, such as E. coli and mammalian cells, to facilitate the exploration of its biochemical properties, interactions with other proteins, and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. This ongoing research not only enhances our understanding of LYPD3's biological roles but also opens avenues for innovative approaches in disease treatment and management.
