Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of entA recombinant proteins has garnered significant attention due to their crucial role in bacterial metabolism, specifically in the biosynthesis of various essential compounds. EntA, an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of chorismate to prephenate, is a key player in the shikimic acid pathway, which is pivotal for the production of aromatic amino acids and secondary metabolites in bacteria. Given the increasing demand for antibiotics and other bioactive compounds derived from bacterial metabolites, understanding the function and regulation of EntA is critical. Furthermore, recombinant protein technology enables the production of high yields of purified EntA for structural and functional studies, paving the way for potential biotechnological applications, such as the development of novel antibiotics or the enhancement of metabolic pathways in microbial cell factories. The exploration of entA has implications not only for basic microbiological research but also for applied sciences, including drug development and synthetic biology, making it a significant target for ongoing research in microbial biochemistry and biotechnology.
