Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OSMR (Oncostatin M receptor) is a member of the class I cytokine receptor family and plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of oncostatin M, a cytokine involved in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, cancer, and tissue repair. The significance of OSMR in these processes has sparked interest in its potential as a therapeutic target. Research has revealed that OSMR is involved in several signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival, making it a critical player in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and certain cancers. Due to its pivotal role in immune responses and its association with disease progression, the production of recombinant OSMR proteins has become essential for understanding its biological functions and interactions with other signaling molecules. This has facilitated the development of specific inhibitors and monoclonal antibodies aimed at modulating its activity for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies have demonstrated that manipulating OSMR signaling can positively impact disease outcomes, thereby highlighting the importance of ongoing research into recombinant OSMR proteins to uncover new treatment strategies and improve patient care. Through advanced techniques in protein engineering and expression systems, researchers are continuously exploring the structure-function relationships of OSMR, paving the way for innovative solutions to tackle diseases associated with dysregulated OSMR activity. The insights gained from these studies could lead to groundbreaking advancements in the field of immunotherapy and regenerative medicine.
