  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

C14orf1, also known as TCEAL1 (T-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia 1), has gained attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various biological processes, including cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, and immune response modulation. This protein is located on chromosome 14 and is associated with several cellular functions, particularly in T-cells where its expression is upregulated during activation. Research indicates that C14orf1 may be involved in the pathogenesis of certain cancers, particularly T-cell malignancies, making it a target for therapeutic exploration. Its function as a transcriptional regulator is also being studied, particularly concerning its interactions with other proteins and DNA elements that modulate gene expression. The recombinant expression of C14orf1 allows for better understanding of its biochemical properties, structure-function relationship, and molecular mechanisms. Through techniques such as protein purification and characterization, researchers aim to elucidate the role of C14orf1 in cellular signaling pathways and its potential as a biomarker for diseases. The ongoing investigation into C14orf1 is crucial for developing novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, particularly in oncology and immunology.
