Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HAND2 (Heart and Neural Crest Derivatives Expressed 2) is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor family, playing critical roles in embryonic development, particularly in the development of the heart and neural crest derivatives. It is involved in processes such as cardiac morphogenesis, neuronal differentiation, and the regulation of gene expression during organogenesis. Dysregulation of HAND2 has been implicated in various congenital heart defects and neurodevelopmental disorders, highlighting its importance in developmental biology. Research on HAND2 recombination protein aims to elucidate its specific functions and regulatory mechanisms in vitro and in vivo. By generating recombinant HAND2 proteins, scientists seek to investigate its interactions with other proteins, assess its transcriptional activity, and explore its role in developmental pathways. Additionally, understanding HAND2’s biochemical properties and how it responds to various signaling pathways can provide insights into both normal development processes and the molecular basis of related disorders. This research not only contributes to a deeper understanding of the fundamental principles of developmental biology but also has potential implications for therapeutic strategies in treating congenital anomalies and neurodevelopmental conditions. Overall, the study of HAND2 recombination protein is crucial for uncovering how transcription factors orchestrate complex developmental processes.
