  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ANG-3, also known as angiogenin-3, is a member of the angiogenin family of ribonucleases that play crucial roles in various physiological and pathological processes, including angiogenesis, inflammation, and cancer progression. Research on ANG-3 has gained attention due to its involvement in neovascularization and its potential as a therapeutic target in diseases characterized by abnormal blood vessel growth. Unlike its well-studied counterpart, angiogenin (ANG-1), which primarily promotes the formation of new blood vessels, ANG-3 has unique functional attributes that warrant further investigation. Studies have indicated that ANG-3 may exhibit different tissue distribution patterns and functional properties, indicating its distinct role in cellular processes. Additionally, the exploration of ANG-3's interactions with cellular receptors and its molecular mechanisms can unveil novel pathways in vascular biology. As a result, understanding the biological significance of ANG-3 not only enhances our comprehension of angiogenesis but also holds promise for developing innovative treatments for conditions such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases, where targeting angiogenesis is of paramount importance. Overall, ANG-3 represents a promising area of research within the broader context of angiogenic factors, contributing to advancements in therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating blood vessel formation.
