Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRSS8, also known as Membrane-Type Serine Protease 1 (MT-SP1), is a protein that belongs to the serine protease family and is primarily expressed in epithelial tissues. Its expression is notably increased in various cancers, making it a focal point of research in oncology and developmental biology. The protease is believed to play a significant role in physiological processes such as tissue remodeling, cell migration, and apoptosis, influencing cancer progression and metastasis. Studies have shown that PRSS8 may activate certain signaling pathways and affect the behavior of tumor cells, contributing to tumor invasion and immune evasion. Furthermore, its potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis has garnered significant interest in the scientific community. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production and purification of PRSS8 for functional studies, enabling researchers to investigate its enzymatic activity and interactions with other molecular partners. Understanding the biophysical properties and biological functions of PRSS8 could provide insights into its role in cancer biology and highlight its potential as a therapeutic target. As such, ongoing research seeks to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying PRSS8's involvement in various pathological conditions, paving the way for novel approaches in cancer treatment and management.
